James Kenney is the Founder, CEO and President of Kenney Consulting.  He has more than 30 years experience as a pension actuary, including 26 years as a consulting actuary, of which 18 years have been in an ownership role.  Known for his deep knowledge of the tax code and IRS regulations, Mr. Kenney is a well known expert in the employee benefit/pension plan industry and has been relied upon by numerous administrative and retirement committees, Board of Directors, and other bodies, including industry authorities and associations to provide professional advice, produce studies and reports, author industry publications, and present speeches relating to the field. 
 
Clients frequently seek his expert witness services for pension and/or loss of income cases; he has testified in high profile cases such as the Retired Pilots of US Airways in bankruptcy proceedings.

David B.  Berry, Sr. IT Consultant for Kenney Consultant, has over 25 years General IT and Management experience in the actuarial field.  He has worked with James Kenney since the mid 80’s when Kenney was a principal with Coates Kenney, Gavazzi, Witt Inc.  David handles project management, builds custom software applications, APL and Objective C Development.  Prior to joining Kenney Consulting, he has held titles over his career such as Senior VP, and COO, as well as owning his own consulting firm.

Jody Arnold, Systems IT Consultant, has over 30 years of experience as a systems and application programmer, many of those years in the actuarial and financial fields.  Most recently, he has been programming user friendly Windows based applications that communicate with other Windows programs and various databases.   His expertise includes:  Writing/enhancing benefit calculation systems; report generation through MS Word & Excel; Data communication with Access, Excel, Oracle, Access etc.; and Data analysis. He also serves as an IT contact person troubleshooting computer problems and finding answers to the staff’s computer related questions.



Landry Wildwind, Office Manager,  has operated her own business as a mental health professional in private practice since 1983.  She has been an international trainer and a leader of professional teams as well during the last 24 years.  Before going into private practice, Landry was an administrator for several social service organizations, both governmental and non-profit.  She started several programs, securing funding for them and assuring organizational support, as well as hiring, training and supervising staffs of as many as 16.   Landry is Office Manager at Kenney Consulting.  She facilitates meetings and manages purchasing, personnel and accounting.  Landry organized and designed the new office.  She is also a partner in the company together with her husband, James Kenney.

David B. Berry
Sr. IT Consultant
Betty Legardy is an Associate Actuary for Kenney Consulting.  She has over 38 years experience as an actuarial clerk/assistant for consulting actuaries.  She has worked on both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution Plans.  Her experience includes submissions of plans for Determination Letters, preparing the required disclosure and reporting forms for plans, and assisting actuaries in preparing actuarial reports.  Betty is a graduate of San Francisco State College, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. 


Margie Pryle is an Associate Actuary for Kenney Consulting and a highly valued employee who has been working with Kenney for over 20 years.  Her broad range of experience includes actuarial and administrative work on a variety of pension plans. She has worked on both large and small plans, both corporate and non-profit. She has maintained an information call-center for an international plan for over ten years, responding to calls from individual plan participants on a daily basis.  Margie holds a B.A. from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA
